My Music  

Give me a Baby Grand Piano & a quiet place & I'm in a Heaven on Earth spot. To me, there is nothing like it, that enables me to communicate with my inner being, soul, Spirit  & God. No doubt about it , for those few moments of surrender & bliss, my undependable nature is at it's best.

Seems like I've always sought out a piano/keyboard wherever I've been & in my fashion loved to sing,play & write music....No formal training; just my ear close to the ebony & Ivory keys.

Creating songs, music& lyrics has been a gift , I'm thankful for.

When we were a young family , with 3 kids , living in Puerto Rico, @ Quintas De Candelero, I 'd be playing & singing my songs ( over & over ) in the evenings , in the living room & my daughter Paula in the TV room , would get up & pull the sliding glass doors shut.

One evening at the dining room table while giving thanks I made mention of being hopeful that God had a piano for me in Heaven; & my daughter ( maybe 5 years old ) immediately piped up & said " and Sliding Glass Doors Too ! "    ( true story )

I believe , somewhere in all the stuff we tend to keep , I have saved an old BC cartoon that shows a cave man pounding a clunker piano in the middle of the night & singing words like" Do You Love Me Babe " , O Babe Do You Love Me " , ...and a chorus coming from the surrounding Caves " Not Now , In the Morning , Babe. "

If I ever had an   ID , that about covered it.

Music is a Vital part of me, wherever I am& varies in sound & style, depending what I'm doing,; devotions, reading, studying,writing , painting, sculpting ,driving or dancing. For the most part, Jazz, love ballads, classical, bluegrass, blues, gospel, & old hymns do it for me.

GOD works with us Human Beans ( aka beings ), knowing in secular music , we tend to self emotions in love , hurt, laughing & crying, promises, confessions, repenting , payback , I'm leaving, I'm comin, I'm goin , take me back , get out of my life , screw you blues, didn't mean it blues, lonesome blues .....personal relationships stuff ; without any idea of ( Hebrews 4: 12 & psalm 139 ), & that we would be playing & singing this stuff over & over again a million more times than Amazing Grace or How Great Thou Art , He has to step in & penetrate the Writer's Block subtle & beautifully with words & thoughts of Him to us ( if only we would think that way ), like ....What are you doing the rest of your life, North & South & East & West of your  life , I have only one request of your life, that you spend it all with Me....the whole song is marvelously Him & any one singing it........The Nearness of You..... Sometimes when we Touch.........Autumn Leaves........All of You.. ( I'd like to take complete control of you , & handle the heart & Soul of you, so love at least a small percent of me do, cause I love all of you )......My Funny Valentine.....All or Nothing at All ....... ( half a love never appealed to me, so if your heart never would yield to me , then I'd rather have nothing at all )....Fly me to the Moon.. ...At Long Last Love ...( Is it an earthquake or simply a shock, is it the good turtle soup, or merely a mock...).... lines like....If it takes forever, I will wait for you, for a thousand summers, I will wait for you, til your here beside ME ..... Out of the Tree of Life .....You belong to Me.... That Old Feeling ......She.... Still.....Because of You ...Time After Time .... All the Things You Are ........Honesty ......At Last ......I concentrate On You.......

I love a Piano sound & Trumpet, guitar ...a violin can bring me to tears........
